The Castle Combe Junior Karting Championship is the premier rental karting championship for drivers aged 10-15 in the South West. It is great starting point for kids to learn the ropes and start a career in the world of Motorsport. The karting is open for kids aged between 10 – 15 and is a cheap, cost effective way to get started at just £45 per session. For that we provide all the equipment, from karts to suits and helmets while also providing an experience we hope you will remember forever. Many of our previous drivers have moved on to race in national karting series and climb the ladder to racing in cars. Our track is based at Castle Combe Circuit in Wiltshire and we run a training school where boys and girls can learn top class racing skills, under the professional supervision of our marshals and experienced instructors. This also helps to prepare drivers if they which to progress and compete in our championship. Whether you want to come along and try karting for fun or you have serious ambitions to become a racing driver, there is no better place to start.

To get started drivers must first complete our Junior Kart Racing School  where we assess each driver individually and once we are happy the drivers are fast enough and safe enough we sign them off as ready to race in our championship.

We hold two Championships in a year Spring & Autumn.  Each Championship runs over 10 rounds (only drivers top 6 scores count, so you don’t have to do every round) See Championship Dates page for a list of dates for Junior Karting.

Each round consists of:

  • Safety Briefing
  • Practice laps
  • 4 qualifying heats Per Driver
  • At least 1 Final per Driver
  • Trophies for top 3 drivers in A Final
